The St. Louis Rams won 7 games last year. With that in mind, I think good things are in store for them in 2011, as Sam Bradford has a year of experience under his belt. The Rams have improved on both sides of the football in the off-season and they schedule doesn’t look especially difficult. I look for the Rams to challenge the Arizona Cardinals for the NFC West title in 2011, so I’m taking the over on wins for the Rams in 2011.
The Rams were only 1-15 last season as they only beat the Lions. Despite having such a weak schedule it’s hard for me to advise anyone to take the over. The Rams are doing the right thing at QB by just playing rookie Sam Bradford from week #1. He played well in the pre-season and the Rams don’t have a tough schedule. I think the Rams are going to win 3-4 games this year so I would make a small play on the under. They are also currently 200-1 to win the Super Bowl coming into this year.
With head coach Scott Linehan’s future on the line I expect the Rams to play with more fire than they did last season. A return to health by a lot of players on offense will make the Rams a much better football team as they are not nearly as bad as they played last season. Take the over as the Rams will likely win 8 or more games in 2008.
I think the Rams are going to be the team to rise in the NFC West. Let everyone else talk about the Niners, Seahawks and Cardinals because no one will be able to stop the Rams offense this season. Look for the Rams to regain their moniker as the “Greatest Show on Turf” this season as they will win 10-12 games this season. You heard that here first. Take the over!
