The St. Louis Rams really sucked yesterday in Dallas.  There is no way to sugarcoat it.  A.J. Feeley got the start at QB and he completed 20 of 33 passes for 196 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT.  Steven Jackson led the way on the ground for the Rams in this game with 70 yards rushing on 18 carries (3.9 ypc) with 1 TD run.  He also caught 4 passes for 3 yards (0.8 avg) in this game.  WR Brandon Lloyd (6 rec, 74 yards) and TE Michael Hoomanawanui (3 rec, 44 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Rams yesterday.  The Rams finished up with 70 yards rushing on 21 carries (3.3 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 33 passes (60.6%) for 195 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 26:04.

The Rams’ defense was utterly pathetic yesterday.  Safety Quintin Mikell (10 tackles, 1 forced fumble), LB James Laurinaitis (8 tackles), CB Josh Gordy (6 tackles) and CB Al Harris (5 tackles, 2 passes defensed and 1 fumble recovery) led the way for the “D” yesterday.  The Cowboys finished up with 294 yards rushing on 34 carries (8.6 ypc) and they also completed 14 of 24 passes (58.3%) for 151 yards.  The Rams are now 0-6 on the year.

The Rams never really mounted much of a challenge in this game as the Packers were leading 24-3 at the half.  Sam Bradford completed 28 of 44 passes for 321 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT.  Steven Jackson had a solid game too with 96 yards rushing on 18 carries (5.3 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 29 yards (7.3 avg).  Cadillac Williams pitched in with 24 yards rushing on 4 carries (6.0 ypc) and they also caught 2 passes for 10 yards (5.0 avg).  WRs Danario Alexander (6 rec, 91 yards) and Greg Salas (8 rec, 77 yards) led the way for the Rams in the passing game yesterday.  TE Lance Kendricks (4 rec, 71 yards) and WR Brandon Gibson (4 rec, 43 yards) also pitched in yesterday.  The Rams finished up with 125 yards rushing on 25 carries (5.0 ypc) and they also completed 28 of 44 passes 63.6%) for 299 yards as they had possession of the ball for 30:41.

The defense was solid against the run, but not so good against the pass in this game.  LBs James Laurinaitis (8 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss) and Chris Chamberlain (7 tackles) led the way for the Rams in this game.  Safeties Quintin Mikell (7 tackles) and Craig Dahl (3 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) also pitched in for the Rams defensively.  The Packers finished up with 96 yards rushing on 32 carries (3.0 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 28 passes (60.7%) for 303 yards.  The Rams are now 0-5 on the year.

The Rams got pushed around by the Redskins for 3.5 quarters today before showing some signs of life offensively.  Sam Bradford had a day to forget as he only completed 20 of 43 passes for 164 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  He was running for his life most of the time as he was sacked 7 times by the Redskins.  Steven Jackson was the main man in the running game as he carried the ball 17 times for 45 yards (2.6 ypc).  Jackson also caught 4 passes for 19 yards (4.8 avg) with 1 TD grab in this game.  WR Danario Alexander (3 rec, 46 yards), TE Lance Kendricks (4 rec, 33 yards) and WR Austin Pettis (4 rec, 32 yards, 2 fumbles (the Rams didn’t lose either of them) led the way for the Rams in the passing game.  The Rams finished up with 45 yards rushing on 17 carries (2.6 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 43 passes (46.5%) for 127 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 24:50.

The Rams’ D was great against the pass but pathetic against the run today.  CB Bradley Fletcher (7 tackles) and LB James Laurinaitis (7 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) led the way for the Rams on D in this game.  CB Justin King pitched in with 2 tackles, 1 pass defensed and a interception that he returned 51 yards for a TD.  The Redskins finished up with 196 yards rushing on 40 carries (4.9 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 29 passes (51.7%) for 143 yards.  The Rams are now 0-4 on the year.

The Rams played terrible on both sides of the ball yesterday and it showed on the scoreboard.  Sam Bradford was under heat the whole game long as he was sacked five times and hit many more.  He completed 16 of 32 passes for 166 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 INT.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 22 yards (7.3 ypc) and he also lost a fumble.  Cadillac Williams led the way on the ground for the Rams with 75 yards rushing on 18 carries (4.2 ypc).  Steven Jackson also pitched in with 23 yards rushing on 4 carries (5.8 ypc) in this game.  WRs Brandon Gibson (5 rec, 55 yards, TD) and Mike Sims-Walker (3 rec, 36 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Rams in this game.  The Rams finished up with 112 yards rushing on 26 carries (4.3 ypc) and they also completed 16 of 32 passes (50%) for 132 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 28:49.

The defense was awful for the Rams yesterday.  Safety Quintin Mikell (6 tackles, 1 fumble recovery), CB Justin King (6 tackles and 2 passes defensed) and CB Bradley Fletcher (6 tackles) led the way for the Rams’ “D” in this game.  The Ravens rushed for 168 yards on 26 carries (6.5 ypc) and they also completed 27 of 48 passes (56.3%) for 385 yards.  The Rams are now 0-3 on the season.

New York Giants 28, St. Louis Rams 16

The Rams shot themselves in the foot last night with turnovers and it killed them in the end.  Sam Bradford completed 22 of 46 passes for 331 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 15 yards (5.0 ypc) in this game.  Bradford also lost a fumble that was returned 65 yards for a TD by Giants’ LB Michael Boley.  Cadillac Williams didn’t show much last night.  He carried the ball 13 times for 36 yards (2.8 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 4 yards (1.3 avg).  WRs Danario Alexander (3 rec, 122 yards, TD) and Mike Sims-Walker (6 rec, 92 yards) really stepped up for the Rams last night.  Brandon Gibson pitched in with 4 grabs for 52 yards (13.0 avg).  Rookie WR Greg Salas tried to replace Danny Amendola last night and he was awful.  He caught 4 passes for 27 yards (he dropped a few) and he also returned 2 punts for 29 yards (14.5 avg) and he lost a fumble that set up the Giants with good starting field position.  The Rams finished up with 59 yards rushing on 19 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 46 passes (47.8%) for 308 yards as they had possession of the ball for 25:48.

The defense actually played pretty well for the most part last night.  LB James Laurinaitis led the way for the Rams’ D last night with 14 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss.  CB Justin King (9 tackles), safety Darian Stewart (8 tackles) and safety Quintin Mikell (7 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) also had good games for the Rams last night.  The Giants finished up with 119 yards rushing on 38 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 18 of 29 passes (62.1%) for 181 yards.  The Rams are now 0-2 on the year.

Philadelphia Eagles 31, St. Louis Rams 13

The Rams fell behind to quickly in this game to stick to running the ball, and it hurt them as the Eagles’ offense was unstoppable at times.  Sam Bradford completed 17 of 30 passes for 188 yards with 0 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also lost a fumble that Eagles’ DE Juqua Parker returned 56 yards for a TD.  Bradford injured a finger on his throwing hand in this game and he might have suffered nerve damage.  A.J. Feeley didn’t look too good against his old team as he connected on only 1 of 5 passes for 21 yards.  Steven Jackson carried the ball 2 times for 56 yards (28.0 ypc) with a TD run before he left the game due to injury.  Cadillac Williams replaced Jackson in the game and he carried the ball 19 times for 91 yards (4.8 ypc).  He also caught 6 passes for 49 yards (8.2 avg) as he played a great game today.  WRs Brandon Gibson (3 rec for 50 yards) and Danny Amendola (5 rec, 45 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Rams today.  The Rams finished up with 154 yards rushing on 26 carries (5.9 ypc) and they also completed 19 of 36 passes for 181 yards as they had possession of the ball for 29:46.

The defense was pretty awful for the Rams today.  Safety Craig Dahl led the way for the Rams today with 9 tackles.  CB Justin King (7 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 1 sack and 2 passes defensed) and LB James Laurinaitis (6 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 pass defensed and 1 fumble recovery) also pitched in on D.  The Eagles finished up with 237 yards rushing on 31 carries (7.6 ypc) and they also completed 14 of 32 passes for 167 yards in this game.  The Rams start the 2011 season with a 0-1 record.

Seattle Seahawks 16, St. Louis Rams 6

The Rams played a horrible offensive game last night.  Sam Bradford looked like the rookie that he is last night as he completed 19 of 36 passes for 155 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT.  Steven Jackson led the way on the ground for the Rams in this game with 45 yards rushing on 11 carries (4.1 ypc).  He also caught 4 passes for 39 yards (9.8 avg) in this game.  TE Daniel Fells (3 rec, 39 yards) and WR Brandon Gibson (3 rec, 30 yards) led the way for the Rams in the passing game.  The Rams finished up with 47 yards rushing on 15 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 19 of 36 passes for 137 yards as they only had the ball for 25:15.

The defense was bending but not breaking last night keeping the game close.  LBs David Vobora (11 tackles) and James Laurinaitis (9 tackles, 1 QB hit and 1 fumble recovery) led the way for the Rams’ D in this game.  CB Ron Bartell pitched in with 7 tackles in this game.  The Seahawks finished up with 141 yards rushing on 35 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 36 passes for 192 yards.  The Rams finished tied for first in the NFC West with a 7-9 record but they lost the tiebreaker to the Seahawks.

St. Louis Rams 25, San Francisco 49ers 17

The Rams outclassed the 49ers by making big plays at crucial parts of this football game on both sides of the football.  Sam Bradford was sharp yesterday as he completed 28 of 37 passes for 292 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  He did lose a fumble though so he wasn’t perfect.  Stephen Jackson led the way on the ground for the Rams in this game with 48 yards rushing on 24 carries (2.0 ypc) with a TD run and he also caught 3 passes for 19 yards (6.3 avg).  WRs Danario Alexander (6 rec, 99 yards), Brandon Gibson (3 rec, 69 yards), Danny Amendola (8 rec, 53 yards) and Laurent Robinson (3 rec, 25 yards, TD) led the way in the passing game for the Rams yesterday as Bradford was spreading the ball around.  The Rams finished up with 60 yards rushing on 28 carries (2.1 ypc) and they also completed 28 of 37 passes for 275 yards as they had possession of the ball for 33:08.

The defense gave up some yards but they also made some big plays.  DE James Hall (8 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks), LB James Laurinaitis (7 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss and 1 QB hit) and DT Fred Robbins (3 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 sack, 1 pass defensed and 2 QB hits) led the way for the Rams on D in this game.  Safety O.J. Atogwe also pitched in with a interception in this game.  The 49ers finished up with 85 yards rushing on 21 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 28 of 37 passes for 275 yards in this game.  The Rams are now 7-8 on the season and this sets up a winner take all (the NFC West Title) next Sunday Night at Qwest Field against the Seahawks.

Kansas City Chiefs 27, St. Louis Rams 13

The Rams were up 6-0 after the first quarter and then the roof caved in on them.  Sam Bradford was not good in this game as he completed 21 of 43 passes for 181 yards with 0 TD passes and 2 INTs.  Steven Jackson did his part for the Rams as he carried the ball 19 times for 67 yards (3.5 ypc) with a TD run and he also caught 5 passes for 37 yards (7.4 avg).  Danny Amendola (7 grabs, 60 yards) and TE Daniel Fells (4 rec, 47 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Rams last Sunday.  The Rams finished up with 69 yards rushing on 21 carries (3.3 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 29 passes for 155 yards.

LB James Laurinaitis (11 tackles, 1 pass defensed), CB Ronald Bartell (8 tackles, tackle for a loss), safety Craig Dahl (8 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss) and CB Kevin Dockery (2 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) led the way for the Rams on D in this game.  The Chiefs finished up with 210 yards rushing on 42 carries (5.0 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 29 passes for 173 yards.  The Rams are now 6-8 on the season but they are still tied with the Seahawks atop of the NFC West.

New Orleans Saints 31, St. Louis Rams 13

The Rams made a lot of big mistakes in this game and it cost them dearly on the scoreboard.  Sam Bradford looked like the rookie that he is yesterday.  He completed 18 of 32 passes for 231 yards with 0 TD passes and 2 interceptions (one was returned 96 yards for a TD by Malcolm Jenkins).  Steven Jackson led the way on the ground for the Rams in this game with 96 yards rushing on 16 carries (6.0 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 38 yards (9.5 avg).  Keith Totson pitched in with 5 carries for 22 yards (4.4 ypc) and he also caught 1 pass for 23 yards.  WRs Brandon Gibson (4 rec for 67 yards and 1 carry for 13 yards) and Laurent Robinson (2 rec, 61 yards) led the way for the Rams in the passing game yesterday.  The Rams finished up with 136 yards rushing on 24 carries (5.7 ypc) and they also completed 18 of 32 passes for 191 yards.
