Diggs played in 14 games for the Panthers last season in which he made 38 tackles, three tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble and he defensed 1 pass. Diggs has now played in 145 games in his NFL career in which he has made 598 tackles, defensed 29 passes, has 11.5 sacks, he has forced 3 fumbles and he has 5 interceptions. This was a good signing for the Rams who need a lot of help on defense.
The Rams have re-signed 33-year old DE. Hall played in 14 games for the Rams last season and he made 42 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, he had 4.5 sacks and he defensed 1 pass. Hall has played in 45 games in his career with the Rams in which he has made 139 tackles, defensed 2 passes and he has 13.5 sacks. This was a good move for the Rams as Hall still seems like he has a lot left in the gas tank.
The Rams have signed 32-year old, 6′3″, 310 pound G/C Hank Fraley to a deal. He played in 15 games (4 starts) for the Browns last season. He has now played in 135 games (123 starts) in his NFL career. Fraley will likely compete with John Greco for the right guard job during training camp and Fraley will be the favorite to win the job. Fraley is also a accomplished center so his versatility should really help the Rams.
The Rams have re-signed 26-year old TE Daniel Fells to a 1-year, $1.5 million dollar deal. Fells played in 14 games for the Rams last season in which he caught 21 passes for 273 yards (13.0 avg) with 3 TD grabs. He has now played in 26 games in his two years with the Rams and he has caught 28 passes for 354 yards (12.6 avg) with 3 TD grabs. This was a smart move for the Rams as Fells really picked up his game last season.
