Kyle Boler was awful for the St. Louis Rams (1-11) and they lost an ugly one to the Chicago Bears (5-7).  Boler could not get anything going in the passing game and finished with only 113 yards and interception on 17/33 passes.  Boler made a Bears’ defense that has been struggling look very good.  Steven Jackson was the only real offense the Rams could get, as he rushed for 112 yards on 28 carries but failed to reach the endzone.  The only points the Rams could get was from kicker Josh Brown, who hit three field goals from 20, 48, and 50 yards.

The Rams defense actually played pretty well in this one.  They failed to do what almost every team has been doing to the Bears, and that is intercept Bears’ quarterback Jay Cutler.  Cutler played very conservatively in this one though, going 8/17 for 143 yards and 1 touchdown.  They let Bears’ running back Matt Forte make too big of an impact.  Forte has been pretty bad all year and the Rams let him rush for 92 yards and a touchdown.  Overall the Rams defense did a pretty good job, holding the Bears to only 17 points and 248 total yards.  They just didn’t get enough from their offense.
