James Laurinaitis is off to a good start for the St. Louis Rams

Rookie linebacker James Laurinaitis is off to a good start for the Rams.  He is leading the team in tackles with 25 and he has one for a loss.  Sure the team is giving up 148.0 yards rushing per game this season but it’s not the rookie’s fault as he is playing hard.  He has been having to deal with a lot of guards on the second level of the D because the D-Line is not demanding any double teams.  To fight through the blocks maybe Laurinaitis should learn some tricks from his dad who was “Animal” from the wresting tag team World Champion Road Warriors.

The St. Louis Rams need to make sure that they keep Steven Jackson busy

The Rams need to get the ball in Steven Jackson’s hands as much as possible as he has accounted for 42.1% of the teams offensive yards.  He has carried the ball 60 times for 288 yards (4.8 ypc) and he has caught 9 passes for 61 yards (6.8 avg).  Whether it’s Kyle Boller or Marc Bulger at QB they need to get the ball to Jackson more in the passing game as they are having big time problems at WR this season.  Jackson is without a doubt the best player on the offense so the Rams need to get the ball in his hands regardless of the score.
