The Rams will be without 25-year old WR Donnie Avery for the next 4-6 weeks due to a stress fracture in his left foot.  Avery played in 15 games as a rookie for the Rams last season and he caught 53 passes for 674 yards (12.7 avg) with 3 TD grabs.  He’s by far the best receiver the Rams have coming into this season so they can’t afford to be without him too long.
