The St. Louis Rams sign QB Todd Bouman to back up Brock Berlin

The Rams QB situation is dire right now as Brock Berlin will make his first start this Sunday in Cincinnati.  This is scary for the Rams who will have to rely on the running game of Steven Jackson because Berlin has never played in a NFL game and he wasn’t even that good in college.  Veteran Todd Bouman was signed to backup Berlin this week.  Bouman has completed 129 of 230 passes (56.1%) for 1,683 yards with 11 TD passes and 11 interceptions (75.3 QB Rating) in his NFL career.  He also has carried the ball 21 times for 86 yards (4.1 ypc).  Marc Bulger (concussion) and Gus Frerotte (partially torn labrum) will be unavailable for the game this weekend against the Bengals.
