The St. Louis Rams lose Richie Incognito for the season

The poor Rams have lost another starting offensive lineman for the season.  Richie Incognito is a nasty sort who will be missed with a severe right kneecap injury.  I would hate to be Steven Jackson, Brian Leonard, Marc Bulger or Gus Frerotte the rest of this season with the O-Line that the Rams will have to play the rest of the way.

Cleveland Browns 27, St. Louis Rams 20

Things were looking good as the Rams raced out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter but it wouldn’t last as they lost their 8th game in a row this season.  Marc Bulger was banged up in this game as he completed 24 of 36 passes for 310 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 interception.  Steven Jackson made a brief appearance before he left the game with an injury.  Jackson carried the ball 8 times for 41 yards (5.1 ypc) with a TD run and he also caught 2 passes for 9 yards.  Brian Leonard had a tough game as he carried the ball 15 times for 33 yards (2.2 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 31 yards (10.3 avg).  Torry Holt had a good game with 6 catches for 110 yards (18.3 avg) with a TD grab.  Isaac Bruce (6 rec, 70 yards) and Drew Bennett (6 rec, 63 yards) both had decent games also.  The Rams finished with 79 yards rushing on 24 carries (3.3 ypc) and they also completed 25 of 39 passes for 314 yards.

Will Witherspoon led the way for the Rams defense with 9 tackles and a sack.  The Browns finished up with 132 yards on 29 carries (4.6 ypc) and they completed 18 of 25 passes for 236 yards.

Seattle Seahawks 33, St. Louis Rams 6

The Rams sucked on offense, defense and special teams in this game.  Nate Burleson nailed them for a 91-yard return on a kickoff for a TD and that was just the tip of the iceberg.  Marc Bulger was putrid in this game as he completed 21 of 40 passes for 225 yards with 0 TDs and 3 INTs.  Bulger also lost two fumbles in this game.  Brian Leonard was the leading rusher on the Rams with 44 yards on 12 carries (3.7 ypc).  Travis Minor only had 1 carry for 1 yard but he also caught 5 passes for 37 yards.  Torry Holt led the receiving corps with 8 catches for 82 yards (10.3 avg) and Isaac Bruce caught 2 passes for 52 yards (26.0 avg).  The Rams finished up with 53 yards rushing on 17 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 21 of 40 passes for 168 yards.

Will Witherspoon led a defensive effort that wasn’t as bad as it looked as he had 13 tackles.  The Seahawks finished up with 100 yards rushing on 32 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 18 of 35 passes for 189 yards.
