The NFL has suspended DT Claude Wroten of the Rams for four games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.  Wroten played in 15 games last season for the Rams and he made 11 tackles, had 1 sack and forced a fumble.

In other Rams news, the team has lost fullback Madison Hedgecock on waivers to the New York Giants.  Hedgecock caught 1 pass for 7 yards last week against the Panthers.  He finishes up his career with the Rams having played in 33 games and he carried the ball 2 times for 2 yards (1.0 ypc).  He also caught 17 passes for 105 yards (6.2 avg).
