The Rams needed some depth in their offensive line and they got that in the selection of center Dustin Fry.  Fry is not a fancy type of lineman and he’s a street fighter which serves him very well as a run blocker.  He’s huge at 6′2″, 326 pounds and he also could probably handle playing guard in the pros.  Fry played in 46 games and started 26 of them for Clemson.  Look for Fry to be a solid reserve for the Rams and a possible future starter.

The Rams have released cornerback Jerametrius Butler as they want to go with younger players.  He hasn’t played much lately due to injuries.  He played in 6 games last season and he made a whopping 2 tackles.  Still, Butler was a decent player when healthy for the Rams.  In 6 seasons, he played in 63 games and made 176 tackles, has 9 interceptions (87 return yards), defensed 22 passes, forced a fumble and recovered 4 fumbles.
