St. Louis Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Rams have lost three games in a row and that streak started with the Seahawks miraculous win in St. Louis 30-28!  The Seahawks broke a two-game losing streak last week with a 16-0 win over the Raiders.

Look for the Rams to come out throwing the ball against the Seahawks secondary that is allowing 222.8 net yards passing per game.  The Rams lit up the Seahawks secondary in the first meeting between these two teams.  Marc Bulger (2,300 yards passing with 13 TDs and 1 INT) will attack the Seahawks down the field with Torry Holt (45 rec, 624 yards) and Isaac Bruce (35 rec, 554 yards).  As soon as the Seahawks try to concentrate on the pass, then the Rams will feed the rock to big Steven Jackson (691 yards rushing).  Jackson also is a load in the passing game out of the backfield with 41 catches for 412 yards.

The Seahawks will try to run the ball against the Rams, who allow 141.3 yards rushing per game.  Maurice Morris (387 yards rushing) is coming off of his best game of the season last week, but he probably doesn’t scare the Rams defense.  Seneca Wallace has played o.k. so far, but it took a superhuman effort from Matt Hasselbeck to beat the Rams in their first meeting and even on his best day, Wallace isn’t in that class.

I think the Rams will get revenge in Seattle because their offense is so much better than what the Seahawks can counter with.
