The Rams played a great game on offense and needed every single point to hold off the Detroit Lions.  QB Marc Bulger completed 26 of 42 passes for 328 yards with 3 TDs.  RB Steven Jackson continued his fine play carrying the ball 22 times for 81 yards (3.7 ypc) and a TD, he also caught 6 passes for 65 yards (10.8 avg).  WR Torry Holt caught 6 passes for 102 yards (17.0 avg) and a TD.  Isaac Bruce caught 7 passes for 100 yards (14.3 avg) and a TD.  Rookie TE Joe Klopfenstein caught 2 passes for 23 yards and a TD.

The defense had a rough time stopping the Lions offense.  LB Will Witherspoon and Corey Chavous led the team with 8 tackles each.  The Lions ran the ball 21 times for 93 yards (4.4 ypc).  The Lions completed 29 of 43 passes for 277 net yards thru the air.
