Coach Scott Linehan is transforming the Rams into a more complete football team.  The Rams used to win by throwing the ball all over the place and out-scoring the opponent.  The Rams unleashed quite a different look on Sunday on the un-suspecting Broncos.  Marc Bulger completed 18 of 34 passes (52.9%) for 217 yards.  RB Steven Jackson was a beast, carrying the ball 22 times for 121 yards (5.5 ypc) and catching 4 passes for 19 yards (4.8 avg).  WR Torry Holt caught 7 passes for 80 yards (11.4 avg).  Isaac Bruce caught 5 passes for 64 yards (12.8 avg).  Kicker Jeff Wilkins hit 6 field goals in the game that were 24-51 yards in length.

LB Will Witherspoon had 8 tackles.  DE Leonard Little had 2 sacks.  DB Fakhir Brown intercepted a pass and had a sack, Tye Hill and Corey Chavous also picked-off a pass each.  The Rams had trouble stopping the Broncos running game as the Broncos ran the ball 25 times for 161 yards (6.4 ypc).  The Rams played good against the pass as the Broncos only completed 50% of their passes for 98 net yards in the air, and the Rams picked-off 3 Jake Plummer passes.
