Coach Linehan has never been a NFL head coach, but he’s been an offensive co-ordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2002-2004 and was the offensive co-ordinator of the Miami Dolphins last season.  Linehan understands the importance of the keeping his QB healthy, which is something Coach Martz was not good at.

Keeping Bulger healthy is a big key. But last year he made a tackle with his right shoulder that ruined his season. The reason the Rams went downhill under Martz was the whole orginizations draft choices the last six seasons. Martz’s first draft he took Lamar Gordon in the first round who was a total bust. The drafts never really improved. All of those defensive players they took when Lovie Smith came over are all gone and they all were mediocre.
