Mark Setterstrom (7, OG/C)

Setterstrom was a good run-blocker in college.  He’s also very versatile, and can play any interior position on the line.  He was a four-year starter at Minnesota (50 games).  He has decent size at 6′3″, 307 pounds.  He has a good shot to make the Rams as a back-up lineman.

Tim McGarigle (7, ILB)

Was very productive in his career at Northwestern.  Looks to be a back-up and special teams ace in the NFL.  As long as he’s protected by the D-Line he could be more than a back-up.

McGarigle played in 48 games at Northwestern (40 starts) and made 545 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, broke up 12 passes and intercepted 3.

Marques Hagans (5, WR)

Hagans was a QB at Virginia that wasn’t expected to be drafted.  He’ll have to try to make the team as a third-down back or back-up receiver.  He has the speed to make the conversion, but it will take time.

Victor Adeyanju (4, DE)

Four year starter at Indiana.  He’s still a little rough around the edges for having all the experience he has.  His upside is huge because of his nice blend of speed (4.62 40) and size (6′4″, 266).  Adeyanju will get to learn behind Leonard Little for now, but he could develop into a difference maker soon.

Adeyanju played in 46 games at Indiana (43 starts) and made 151 tackles, 31 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, batted 7 passes down and forced five fumbles.

Dominique Byrd (3, TE)

Blogged under Bloglockers, The Draft Report, Front Page by ravenhater on Friday 11 August 2006 at 9:23 am

Dominique Byrd was the third rounder out of USC.  Byrd is a good receiver with soft hands and good ball skills.  He doesn’t block very well and doesn’t have great speed.  Byrd is an underachiever that needs  to realize that he has a great opportunity with the Rams if he puts in a good effort.  Byrd played in 29 games (15 starts) and caught 81 passes for 968 yards (12.0 avg) and 4 TDs.
